ChampionChip® Timing System
The "ChampionChip" timing system will be used again this year for timing. It will be worn on a Velcro band on each competitor. One ChampionChip per team will be handed out at check in at the start on race morning. The Velcro band MUST be handed off to each runner at each exchange in order to collect all stage times.
The Velcro band must be worn on the (left) wrist. The mats used to read the chip will be on 6 foot tables.
Please remember to return the chips at the finish line and do not cross the timing mats at the exchange areas unless you are in the process of running that leg of the race.
NO CHIP = NO TIME!
