Awards Ceremony
NEW for 2008: Awards will be distributed at a post race awards event taking place in Harrison early evening, exact time TBD. Not at the dance in Agassiz.
Penticton's Steve King, veteran athletics & triathlon announcer—including the Sun Run, Royal Victoria and Vancouver International Marathons—will be announcing at the awards ceremony (and finish line).
The Running Community's Wind-up Party of the Year!
Post-Race Party (Agassiz Agricultural Hall)
Free to all Relay & Ultra volunteers and participants (family and friends welcome too). Dance starts at 9:00 pm. (Dinner not provided.)
The Agassiz Agricultural Hall is located at 6800 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz. This is a modern facility approx. 8 km from Harrison Hot Springs. Free buses will be available to transport participants and volunteers to/from Harrison Lake. Driving directions from Harrison: follow Hwy 7 / 9 to Agassiz, cross the railway tracks, turn right onto Pioneer Ave. Click on map below to enlarge.
Bus details:
- 2 buses: 48 seats & 21 seats.
- Will start at 6:30 PM and run until 12:30 AM.
- Leaving from: Harrison Hot Springs – The Old Settler Pub – across from the Executive Inn
- Returning from: Agassiz Agricultural Hall, 6800 Pioneer Avenue
