Nanaimo set to host 2015-2016 BC Track & Field Championships Jamboree

The 2015 and 2016 BC Track & Field Championships Jamboree will be headed to Nanaimo. “We had a lot of interest for the 2015 and 2016 BC Track & Field Championships Jamboree,” says Garrett Collier, Technical Manager for Track & Field at BC Athletics. Collier also added, “This year we had a lot of interest, and in keeping with our philosophy of moving the championships to other parts of the province, and having a great competition, we felt that Nanaimo was a great choice.” Regarding their successful bid, President of the Nanaimo Track & Field Club, Tyler Heisterman said, “Nanaimo Track & Field Club is very excited to have been chosen to host the 2015 and 2016 BC Athletics Jamboree. We look forward to welcoming all of you to Nanaimo next July. The 2015 BC Track & Field Championships Jamboree will be taking place July 10th to 12th, 2015 in Nanaimo at the Nanaimo Rotary Bowl.
BC Athletics will be announcing the host for the 2017-2018 BC Track & Field Championships Jamboree in early 2015.
