Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra Details, Price Increase Coming

Join us for the 4th annual Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra on Saturday, October 18. The 50 mile event is centered around Whistler Village and the Valley Trail system.

New this year, we've introduced 2 person and 4 person relay options, still covering the 50 mile distance. 4-person teams will see each runner complete a 20km leg, while 2-person teams will alternate 20km legs.

The standard 8-person team will remain the competitive focus ont he day, with runners alternating between 13km and 7km legs.

The Ultra also serves as the 2014 ACU 50 Mile National Trail Championship.

All participants receive a New Balance long-sleeve tech tee, as well as entry to all pre- and post-race festivities.

Pre-Race Social at the Brewhouse

Always a great partner of our event, the Brewhouse  is once again going to host our Pre-Race Social and Package Pickup evening on the Friday night before the race. Exclusive food discounts and pint specials will be available all weekend long.

Situated right next to the Finish at Whistler Olympic Plaza, the Brewhouse will be serving up great food and drinks all day long. You'll have fresh local beer just a stone's throw from the Finish Line!

Post-Race Activities

We're excited for our best Post-Race Party yet! Hosted at the Longhorn Saloon, all racers and volunteers are invited to join this exclusive party. Drink and food specials will be available throughout the afternoon and evening, with music and entertainment continuing late into the night.

Other Saturday festivities for racers include:

  • Pint specials and 10% off food at the Brewhouse at Whistler
  • Free cover at Garfinkel's
  • Dubh Linn Gate will feature food specials for all racers and a live Celtic band
