Vancouver Olympic Club celebrates 65 Years
The Vancouver Olympic club is set to celebrate 65 years. The 65th Anniversay gala will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 - 6:00pm at the Stanley Park Pavilion (610 Pipeline Rd., Vancouver)
This fast-paced, night to remember will celebrate the success of the club’s talented young runners, jumpers and throwers and the rich legacy – and stories – of its former Olympians and other top athletes—going way back!
This is an evening athletes young and once young won’t want to miss; so join us in support of our remarkable club, and reconnect with old friends, and the thrill of athletics.
Highlights will include:
- Keynote speaker Dr. Douglas Clement
- Vintage video footage, photos and thematic presentations by our Olympians
- Wicked prizes for winners of a quiz on presentations by former athletes, and
- A dinner menu to jump for (yam and pear soup, seared steelhead salmon…)
