H2H and Food Banks

BC Athletics is pleased to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the Haney to Harrison Road Relay and 100 km Ultra Event (totalling $6000.00) will be donated to and shared equally amongst the Food Banks through which the Haney/Harrison Road Relay and 100 km Ultra Run takes place. The Food Banks identified in 2010 through the Food Banks of British Columbia listing are:

The association of Athletics / Running with the Food Banks links directly with the need for nutritious food for a healthy and physically active lifestyle. Providing financial support to the Food Banks means that for each dollar donated the Food Banks can buy $3.00 worth of food.

You can also help the Food Banks
by Donating Non-perishable food.

2010 H2H and Ultra Runners Can Help Directly

In addition to this financial contribution BC Athletics is asking that if possible each H2H participant and/or collectively each team bring a non-perishable food item(s) to donate to the Food Bank. BC Athletics will ensure that these items are delivered to the Food Banks as identified or as arranged for following the event.
