It is the intent of BC Athletics to use the website for
the dissemination of as much information, forms, updates etc. as
possible. All of the forms required for the BC Athletics Annual General
Meeting and Awards Banquet will be available on the website in on-line
and PDF format. Only forms or reports not available on the
website by noon January 24, 2008 will be available at the AGM Meetings. Anyone requiring
information / forms to be mailed to them
should contact the BC Athletics office.

Voting Procedures
- All Board Members are allowed 1 vote
- Vote Distribution for member clubs is based on the number of
members clubs had as of September 30, 2007:
- 5 - 39 members: 1 vote
- 40 - 79 members: 2 votes
- 80 - 119 members: 3 votes
- 120 - 159 members: 4 votes
- 160+ members: 5 votes
- Each member club appoints a member(s) of their club as voting
delegate(s) and alternate(s) to vote on behalf of their club
- The name(s) of all voting delegates(s) and alternate(s) must be
submitted in writing to the BC Athletics office Prior to the
Annual General Meeting (Delegate Registration Form)
- All voting delegates must be current members of BC Athletics at the
time of the Annual General Meeting
- Proxy Vote Form - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Proxy Vote Forms are needed when a club does not plan to have any
delegates present at the Annual General Meeting but wishes to have
their votes cast by another club who will be in attendance. Proxy
votes are only permitted when written notification (Proxy Vote Form)
is received in the BC Athletics office prior to the Annual General
Meeting.
- Club Registrars should get in touch with the BC Athletics
office at sam.collier@bcathletics.org
if there are discrepancies with the number of members in their club.
- Club membership numbers for 2007 will be updated on the website
as required.

Awards Banquet
Saturday, January 26, 2008
- 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm – Hospitality Hour (no host)
- 7:00 pm – Dinner to be followed by awards presentations
Awards Banquet Tickets
- Cost: $40 + GST for individuals; $305 + GST for Group of 8
- The absolute deadline for ordering tickets is January 23,
2008 - tickets will NOT be available after that date.
- Invited Special Guests must contact the BC Athletics office at
(604) 737-3177 to confirm their attendance prior to January 23, 2008
in order to make sure seating is available for them.
