PACIFICSPORT INTERIOR REPORT

The PacificSport Interior had a big year in 2004 with many new projects starting which look to make 2005 another productive season for the centre.

FACILITIES

One of the most exciting developments for the centre was the breaking ground of our new athletic facility. By May of 2005 the first phase of the project should be completed (outdoor facility) and work should be well under way on the second phase (indoor facility). For more information on these facilities please go to www.kamloopstrack.ca and follow the facility link.

COACHING

2004 saw the biggest growth for our club in the area of coaching. Four of our coaches earned their level 1 or 2 NCCP certification and we are proud to announce the addition of four new coaches to our coaching staff, not the least of which is Mr. Anatoly Bondarchuk of the Ukraine. For more info or bio information on these and all of our coaches visit our website at www.kamloopstrack.ca.

COMPETITIONS

This past season the centre hosted numerous competitions, including four high school competitions, numerous elementary school competitions, the Kamloops Centennial Championships and the BC JD Championships. In total these competitions represent some 3.000 plus athletes served. For more in-formation on upcoming centre competitions please visit our website.

OFFICIALS

We currently have 57 registered officials in our centre.

Thank you,
