As part of the Association's Annual Awards Banquet, there is a Silent
Auction—the proceeds of which go towards programs and services for the
more than 280 member clubs in the communities and schools in BC who
represent over 65,000 individual members.
In addition to the programs
and services to the membership, BC Athletics provides coaching education,
competition officiating, officials training and education and participation
programs plus technical advice and assistance to events throughout
British Columbia.
BC Athletics is looking for donations for the Silent Auction.
Trips,
hotel nights, dinning gift certificates, yard work, car rentals,
vacation home rentals, home renovations, wine, art work, corporate
services and athletic wear / equipment are examples of the kind of items
that would really assist BC Athletics in raising needed funds for
various programs and services.
Tax Receipts for the Donations of Gifts-in-Kind
BC Athletics can, if requested by the donor, provide a tax receipt
for income tax purposes through the National Sport Trust Fund. The donor
form and related information can be provided through BC Athletics.
Acknowledgement of Donations
Acknowledgement of donations is done as part of our Awards
Evening as well as through our website at: www.bcathletics.org
and the printed Annual Calendar of Events.
