2007 BC Athletics Athlete of the Year Awards
Nominees in the following 5 categories must meet the age requirement in
2007 for the category nominated:
Cross Country Awards:
Male and Female – Youth 15, Juvenile, Junior, Senior and Master age divisions
Road Running Awards:
Male and Female – Junior, Senior and Master age divisions
Track & Field Awards:
Male and Female – Youth 15, Juvenile, Junior, Senior and Master age divisions
Athlete with a Disability:
Male and Female – not limited to any specific age
Outstanding Male and Female:
(Nominee may be any age)
Male and Female over all categories and all age divisions
2007 BC Athletics Excellence in Coaching Awards
Coaches can be nominated in only one category.
Junior Development Coach:
Coaching athletes from 9 to 15 years of age
Senior Coach:
Coaching athletes 16 & over, none of whom were selected to a
Canadian Senior Team in 2007
High Performance Coach:
Coaching athletes selected to Canadian teams in 2007
2007 BC Athletics Executive of the Year Award
Outstanding Individual/Group who made a significant contribution in
2007 at the Provincial and/or National Level

- Official of the Year
- Mary Temple Memorial Award
- Ralph Coates Memorial Award
- Dave Copland Award
BC Athletics Heritage Committee:
