B.C.J.D. Provincial Award Nomination Form

Awards Criteria - please read before using this form.

REQUIREMENTS

If an athlete in the 9 to 12 year age category meets the criteria of attending 3 recognized BCJD meets, at least one of which is a JD Championship Meet, participates in a throw, jump, and run/walk, and meets an all time Top Ten performance, he or she is eligible to be nominated for a JD award. A nomination form MUST be completed before any athlete will be considered for an award.

If an athlete in the 13 to 15 year age category competes in 3 recognized BCJD meets, one of which is a JD Championship meet, and meets an all time Top Ten performance, he/she is eligible to be nominated for a JD award. In the event of no Top Ten performances, but an outstanding performance in any one of the six recognized disciplines, then the selection committee may choose to recognize such an athlete at the JD Awards Banquet. Wind gauge readings are recommended for 14 and 15 year old athletes.

Please Note:
All athletes nominated must be competitive, JD members of BC Athletics.
School, Supporting, Participation and BC Summer Games memberships do not qualify for BCJD awards.
