The BC Athletics 2010 10K Road Race Championship will be held in conjunction with the 21st TC 10K hosted by the Victoria International Running Society on Sunday, April 25.
Race Information
Certified 10K mildly undulating scenic road course. Race records are 28:47 (Simon Chemoiywo) and 33:03 (Angela Chalmers). Race starts at 8:00am. Complete race details on the event website: www.tc10k.ca.

Entry fee is only $27.00 for BC Athletics athlete members until February 14, $32.00 up to April 9, and $37.00 for late registrations.
Championship Eligibility
The Championship portion of the event is open to all Junior, Senior and Masters members of BC Athletics. 2010 BCA memberships must be received by April 22, 2010 in order to be eligible.
Championship Awards
Championship Medals will be presented to:
- The first 3 BCA Junior, Senior, or Masters members overall, men and women.
Championship Ribbons will be presented to:
- The first 3 BCA Junior, Senior, or Masters members, men and women, in each age category: 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, ... 100+
High Performance Athletes
- Prize Money: $12,000 will be distributed to the top 5 runners overall in the TC10K in the male and female category and the top 3 male and female runners in the masters division.
- Complimentary Entry Standards: Men's Open: 32:00; Women's Open: 37:00; Men's Masters (40+): 36:00; Women's Masters (40+): 41:00

Travel Assistance
Through the Sporting Life on the Coast program, BC Ferries and Sport BC will assist with ferry travel costs for athletes participating in the BC Championships. For further details, see the Sport BC website: www.sport.bc.ca/SpecialOffers/BCFerriesSportingLifeontheCoast/. Applications for travel assistance must be received at least two weeks before the Championship.
