A BC Athletics representative will be in attendance to present championship awards. Note, this requires validation of membership against the membership database. Road Running Championships eligibility is restricted to current year Junior, Senior, Master and Road & Trail BCA membership types. Current BCA policy awards prize money and medals to the top-3 male and female overall in the championship, and ribbons to the top-3 male and female in 5-year age groups, from under 20 to 100+. Typically championship prize money cheques and age group ribbons are mailed out post-event.

  2. The host must submit the post-event submission form and remittance.
  3. BCA will invoice the event for championship medals and ribbons presented (typically <$100).
  4. The host must submit a financial statement for the event, summarizing income and expenses.
  5. When all remittances and a financial statement have been received, BCA will issue the championship hosting grant. ($600 for the Marathon Championship; $300 for all other Championships).
