2007 / 2008 BC Athletics School Club Membership

Membership for your school and all the students, teachers and sponsors involved in Cross Country Running, Track & Field and Road Running. Valid for the term(s) of September 15, 2007 to June 30, 2008. Available to all Public and Independent Elementary, Junior and Senior Secondary Schools in B.C.

2007 / 2008 BC Athletics School District Club Membership

Membership for your School District and all the students, teachers and sponsors involved in Cross Country Running, Track & Field and Road Running. Valid from September 15, 2007 to June 30, 2008. Available to all Public and Independent Elementary, Junior and Senior Secondary Schools in Districts outside the Lower Mainland in BC Summer Games Zones 1 (Kootenays), 2 (Thompson-Okanagan), 6 (Vancouver Island-Central Coast), 7 (North West) and 8 (Cariboo-North East).

Registration Process: School Club Membership

Refer to the application form and other forms as linked and complete all information requested.

  1. List athletes giving name, gender, year of birth and address. If athletes are not known at the time the form is submitted then an enrollment list with the requested information is requested. All information is held in strictest confidence.
  2. Complete BC Athletics Coach membership application forms for each coach to be registered with BC Athletics. Copy forms as required. School Coach memberships are complimentary when submitted with a School Club Membership application.
  3. Coaches wishing to take advantage of the Coaches Association of British Columbia special membership offer should complete the CABC form and forward it to BC Athletics along with the $10.00 fee.
  4. Have all forms signed by the requested authorities.
  5. Make a copy of all completed forms for your records.
  6. Return forms, together with $125.00 (Elementary) or $131.25 (Middle and High School) (payable to BC Athletics) to BC Athletics (see address below).
  7. Your school will be assigned a BC Athletics number to be used when entering BC Athletics sanctioned events. A membership card will be mailed to the school.
  8. Coaches wishing to receive the weekly, electronic BC Athletics Bulletin should complete the online subscription form at www.bcathletics.org/main/bcabulletin.htm.
  9. Coaches will receive individual membership cards identifying them as BC Athletics registered coach members with your school.

Registration Process: School District Club Membership

Refer to the application form and other forms as linked and complete all information requested.

  1. Submit a list of all schools (Public and Independent) in the District and a Track & Field/Cross Country contact name at each school. Each School District must be sponsored by a BC Athletics Club. Refer to the list of BCA Affiliated Clubs.
  2. Complete forms for each coach to be registered with BC Athletics. Copy forms as required. School Coach Memberships are complimentary when submitted with the School District Club Membership application.
  3. Coaches wishing to take advantage of the Coaches Association of British Columbia special membership offer should complete the CABC form and forward it to BC Athletics along with the $10.00 fee.
  4. Have all forms signed by the requested authorities.
  5. Make a copy of all completed forms for your records.
  6. Sponsoring club should submit forms, together with the fee of $210.00 payable to BC Athletics to the address shown on the forms.
  7. A list of individual athletes participating in the district should be submitted to BC Athletics as soon as the athletes have been identified by their school. See application form.
  8. The School District will be assigned a BC Athletics number to be used when entering BC Athletics sanctioned events.
  9. Coaches wishing to receive the weekly, electronic BC Athletics Bulletin should complete the online subscription form at www.bcathletics.org/main/bcabulletin.htm.
  10. Coaches will receive individual membership cards identifying them as BC Athletics registered coach members with your school.
