Rankings include midget to masters.
If you have competed in meets outside BC (for example for your
university) and your results are not in the rankings and you wish to be
ranked, please submit your official results to: jolfert@bcathletics.org
(for example a link to the meet you competed in and your event result
etc.). Other questions on this matter can be sent to the address listed
above.

Rankings FAQ
Q. I competed in a B.C. Athletics Sanctioned meet. Why aren't the
results from that meet in the rankings?
A. If the meet occurred less than two weeks before the date of the
most recent rankings publications, it will most likely be included in
the next set of rankings, as we just haven't had the time to include it
yet. However, if it occurred more than two weeks before and is not
included please let us know and we will look into it immediately.

Q. My name appears in the UNKNOWN/NON-MEMBERS category but I'm a
B.C. Athletics Member. Why is it there and how do I get it in the
correct age category?
A. There is an automated system for finding
birth-years to match member names. If your name is in the B.C. Athletics
Members Database as "Robert Smith" and you enter a meet as
"Bob Smith" it won't recognize you! To ensure that your name
shows up in the correct age category in future please check online at:
https://www.acdirect.ca/regsearch/get_registration_id.asp?
unit=ATHBC&language=EN&season=2006
If your membership number doesn't show up with "Bob Smith"
try "Robert Smith" or "Rob Smith" to ensure that
you're using the same name everywhere. Consistency is key!
Q. I achieved a personal best at a track meet in the U.S. / another
province. Can this be included in the rankings?
A. Probably. Please send us an e-mail to cloehewitt@bcathletics.org
including your full name, year of birth, club and a link to the results
and we'll let you know if it can be included.
Q. Why is my JD son / daughter not in the Midget rankings?
A. We don't do JD rankings here at B.C. Athletics. These rankings are
reserved for athletes age 14 and up, mostly because the rankings are
used as a team selection aid, and since there are no provincial JD
teams, there is no need for JD rankings. For individual JD Age Groups, a
top performances list is published at the end of the season.

Q. My result is wrong (time/age/place). How do I get in touch
with B.C. Athletics to get it amended?
