Location & Parking
Aldergrove Lake Park. Starts and finishes at the Aldergrove Bowl in Aldergrove Lake Park off of Lefeuvre Rd (280th Street) south of 8th Avenue ('B' on map below).
There is plenty of free parking on site.

Ferry Travel Assistance
Through the Sport Experience program, BC Ferries and Sport BC will assist with ferry travel costs for athletes participating in the BC Championship. For further details, see the Sport BC website: http://sportbc.com/membership-information/member-discount/bc-ferries/. Applications for travel assistance must be received at least two weeks before the Championship. Due to overwhelming demand, Sport BC may not be able to accept all applications.

Loops are on grass and trails. Spikes are suitable.

Notes:
* Youths may run up in the Junior event to qualify for the BC Team — must indicate race # when entering.
** Final year Juniors (born in 1992) may run up in the Senior event to qualify for the BC Senior Team. Those aged 40+ may run down if they hold a Senior membership.
Eligibility
All BC Athletics Competitive, Road & Trail, Masters, School Club, School District Club and Day of Event Members are eligible to compete in these Championships.
To be eligible for awards, Youth, Junior, Senior & Masters participants must be annual Athlete Members, School Club, or School Day of Event members. School Club members and School Day of Event members must represent their school.
BC Athletics Membership
BC Athletics requires that all participants in events sanctioned by BC Athletics must have BC Athletics Membership (or equivalent from another Province or Country). To provide for this and to give complete insurance coverage a school or individual may take advantage of one of the following choices:
- Regular BC Athletics membership (Competitive, Recreational or Masters) or equivalent.
- School Club / School District Membership, which covers all athletes in your school who enter BC Athletics events from September 15 to June 30. The cost is $125.00 (plus GST for High Schools).
- Individual / School Day of Event Membership, $3.00. Valid for this event only.
Awards
9-15 Championships: BC Athletics medals to individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each category (i.e. years 1996 to 2002 — Boys & Girls). Ribbons for 4th to 8th place.
BC Championships: BC Athletics medals to individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each competitive category i.e. Youth, Junior, Senior, Masters—Men & Women (including competitive members from other provincial and foreign associations).
Medals in the Masters grouping will be given only to the top 3 overall, not by age category. Ribbons will be given to the first three finishers in each Masters age category.
CASH PRIZES
Prize money will be provided to Men's and Women's Open and Masters Age groups in the Provincial Cross Country Championships.

Team Awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams:
- Yth/Jr/Senior/Masters—Men & Women: Top 4 to Score
All team members must be registered with the same club and be Competitive members of BC Athletics (or equivalent from other Province or Country) to score for team competition.
JD Overall Club Trophy will be awarded to the Club with the most points from all age divisions. Scoring will be based on top 6 placings in each JD race.
