HIGH PERFORMANCE WARM WEATHER CAMP
LAS VEGAS CAMP OVERVIEW
Dates: Arrival March 19, 2020 – Return March 25, 2020 (These dates are flexible but we encourage athletes & coaches to stay the entire duration of the camp)
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Recommended Camp Accommodation: Alexis Park All Suite Resort. Hotel website.
- Rates: Around $250 USD / Night (Sleeps 4)

Training Venue: UNLV Myron Partridge Stadium
- Daily Track access
- Limited weight room access at the Track & Field Facility
- Limited access to high jump & pole Vault equipment
Camp Personnel: All Athletes must have their personal coach in attendance for the entire duration of the camp.

Lead Coach: Tara Self is the current head coach of Coquitlam Cheetahs Track & Field club where she guides a group of high performance and developing athletes. Tara has a long history in the sport as both an athlete, competing in 2 Olympic Games for Canada, and coach. Tara will serve as the lead coach for the camp and be the point of communication for all athletes & coaches. Note that Tara will not offer programming to attending athletes & coaches but will be a resource for coaches and will make herself available accordingly.
Performance Therapy: BC Athletics has contracted Dr. Kyle Stunden, a Chiropractor at MaxFit Movement Institute, to provide treatment to BC Athletics members while attending the camp in Las Vegas. Treatment will be offered daily at the camp hotel. Athletes are asked to connect directly with Kyle to schedule treatment times.
