BC Athlete Assistance Program - Applications Due Nov 10th, 2017

BC Athletics is still accepting applications to receive Athlete Support through either the BC Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) and/or the BC Enhanced Excellence Program (IPS). All athletes must complete the following application (Note: There is a single application for both programs). All applications are due by November 10th, 2017. Targeted athletes will be notifed early in 2018. 

 

BC Athlete Assistance Program (AAP)

The BC Athlete Assistance Program (BC AAP) is an athlete-centered program of financial assistance funded by the Province of British Columbia through the Sport Branch of the Ministry of Community Sport and Cultural Development, and administered through the BC Sport Agency.  The program seeks to recognize high performance athletes who are participating in programs offered through BC Athletics (PSO) or post-secondary insttitutions and competing in recognized national or international competitions to relieve some of the pressures associated with training and competition needs. BC Athletics is charged with selection of said athletes.

Enhanced Excellence Program (Services - IPS)

The Canadian Sport Institute, through a partnership with the Province of BC and ViaSport, the network of PacificSport Centres, and BC Athletics collaborates to deliver programs and services to place BC Athletes on National Teams, and ensure athletes and coaches have every advantage to win medals for Canada. The partners work jointly to encourage sport excellence and increase podium performances in communities throughout British Columbia.
