The BC Athletics BC Team Staff Program is an excellent volunteer opportunity to support our BC Athletes at a National Championship level event.  We recommend that all coaches wishing to progress their coaching development apply for BC Team Staff positions as it provides coaches with the following opportunities:

 

  • NCCP Pro D Points
  • Network with coaches from across the country
  • Support BC Athletes in a critical role at critical events
  • NCCP Evaluation Opportunities for Club Coach and Performance Coach Certification
  • Experience at a National level event

 

BC TEAM STAFF SUPPORT

Selected coaches and staff members will recieve funding support for BC Team Events at National Championships.  The following support if offered:

  • Travel Expenses (including flights and/or bus)
  • Accommodations (provided for the duration of the event)
  • Meal per diem (when meals not provided)
  • Official BC Team Staff Apparel
  • Championship Coaching Pass

External Sports Credit Program

The External Sport Credit Program provides school credits for athletes named to Provincial Teams, Canadian Teams, Targeted Talent ID Programs, Camps and other Provincial Sport Organization Talent ID Programs. 

A full list of the sports and programs can be found here.

Request an External Sport Credit Letter 

Letters indicating proof of participation will be submitted directly to the school counsellor and athlete.
