BC Aboriginal Sports AND Recreation
2008 North American Indigenous Games Team BC Selection
BC Athletics in partnership with Aboriginal
Sports & Recreation Association of BC is promoting the search
for eligible athletes and coaches who may be interested in competing for
Team BC in the 2008 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) to be held in
Cowichan Valley August 3 to 10.
- The Aboriginal Team BC (ATBC) selection process is open to all
athletes and coaches of Aboriginal Decent (Status and Non-Status
First Nations, Inuit, Mιtis)

- Track & Field
- Cross Country Running
- Age Groups (Note the age group names and the ages for these age
groups are not the same as those of BC Athletics)
- Bantam born 1994 & 1995 (ages 13 & 14)
- Midget born 1992 & 1993 (ages 15 & 16)
- Juvenile born 1989, 1990, 1991 (ages 117, 18, 19)
- Note: There will be no ATBC Entries for the Senior Age Group
nor Special Olympics Category in these Games.
