BC Athletics Registrar Bulletin# 2008-02: September 27, 2007The ACDirect system will not be available the weekend of September 29-30 in order to switch the membership year over to 2008. Access to ACDirect Sunday night:The system will automatically change over to the 2008 membership year
at midnight on Sunday, September 30th. You will then have access to both
your 2007 roster and will be able to start the 2008 membership year.
Monday morning I'll activate access for all of those Registrars who have
completed and sent in their 2008 waivers. They will be the only one's with
access to ACDirect at that time. If you haven't already done so please get
your waiver in. It can be found at: Outstanding Registration Balances:Invoices will be created for all Outstanding Registration Balances sitting on the system at midnight on Sunday. Note: Once you've entered memberships on ACDirect system you need to get them invoiced and paid within 3 months. 2008 BC Athletics / Athletics Canada Membership Numbers:Starting with the 2008 membership year the BC Athletics membership number and the AC Registration # will be the same. The first 2 digits of the number will be the members' year of birth with the "AC Registration #" following. This number will serve as both the BC Athletics and Athletics Canada number. New Registrars for 2008:If it is easier for the transition over from an existing Registrar to a new club Registrar - the retiring Registrar can maintain access to ACDirect for an extra 1 month period so that the both the out going and incoming Registrars have access to the club roster. This may help with the learning curve. If you choose to do that please make sure that as an outgoing Registrar you get a 2008 waiver in to me and note on it somewhere that you are the outgoing Registrar. I will then arrange for you to continue having access on October 1st and will take you off ACDirect as of November 1, 2007. |
