BC Athletics Announces 2009 Track & Field Team Staff
May 28/09: BC Athletics is pleased to announce the 2009
Track & Field Team Staff appointments in what is a busy
summer season across the country. The Team staff includes a mix of
experienced personnel and coaches and managers just beginning
their BC Team experience. We are very pleased with the response
to the call for Team Staff, said Ron Bunting, Chair BCA T&F
Committee. We are fortunate to have a good number of good
emerging coaches who are eager to expand their experience and
responsibilities with respect to team coaching and managing. There
are numerous opportunities both at the Provincial and National
Levels of Track & Field for team coaching and managing, with
the ultimate selection being named to the Athletics Canada Senior
National Teams. Coaches play such a critical role in the
development of an athlete and as their (coaches) reward these
opportunities are a in a small fashion our way of saying thank you
for all the work you do on behalf of the athletes you coach and
the sport in British Columbia and Canada, concluded Bunting. Click
