Dear BC Athletics Member,

My name is Braeden Charlton, I am an Honours student in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University working on my thesis under the supervision of Dr. David Clarke (http://www.sfu.ca/clarkelab-bpk.html). We are conducting a study regarding coach education in the topics of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport and the Female Athlete Triad. BC Athletics generously permitted us to contact its member coaches to recruit volunteers for the study.

The study features three parts: a pre-intervention survey, an online education workshop that can be worked on at your own pace, and a post-intervention survey. Completing the education module can count towards continuing education credits with NCCP. Those who complete the education module will have names forwarded to Jennifer Brown to have those points accounted for.

If you wish to participate in this study, please contact me via email at braeden_charlton@sfu.ca.

Thank you for your consideration,

Braeden Charlton
