School Club and School District Memberships

Membership for all students, teachers and sponsors involved in Track & Field, Cross Country and Road Running in your school.  Membership is valid from September 1st through to June 30th.

  • Eligible for entry in the BC Athletics Cross Country Championships
  • Eligible for entry in the BC Athletics Junior Development Pentathlon Championships.
  • Eligible for entry in all BC Athletics Club hosted events
  • Insurance coverage: liability ($5 million limit) for athletes and coaches when school insurance is not in place
  • Decreased costs for entries in BC Athletics sanctioned competitions - $5.00 savings per entrant

BC Athletics School District Club Memberships

School District Membership - Public Schools 

School District Membership - Independent Schools 

Official Membership - BC Secondary School Students (aged 14 and over)

Membership for all of the schools in your School District including all students, teachers and sponsors involved in Track & Field, Cross Country and Road Running.  Membership is valid from September 1st through to June 30th.  

Public school district designations are used to identify which School District a school falls in.  Public schools sign up separately from Independent schools.  Please use the correct form when applying for a School District Membership.

Registration Process:

  • Complete and pay for the appropriate School District Club membership application form
  • Ensure that a main contact person is indicated and provide contact information.
  • You will be asked to upload a list of all schools in the District.  Include a contact name at each school or a person who will act as the contact for the schools in the district.  This person will forward any and all information to the schools
  • Once the application(s) has been processed the main contact person provided will be advised.  That person will be responsible for advising all schools in the district.
  • Have students who wish to train/act as Officials complete the Official Membership - BC Secondary School Students (ages 14 & Older) form online

School Day of Event Membership (DOE)—Elementary and High School students only (valid from Sept 1 – June 30 only) — $5/event

For elementary and high school athletes who are not annual members of BC Athletics or members of a BC Athletics School Club or School District Club wishing to participate in eligible sanctioned events.  Note:  School Day of Event memberships will be paid when registering for a BC Athletics sanctioned event.

  • Valid for Road Races, Cross Country Meets, Club hosted School Meets during the school year (Sept 15th – June 30th) and All Comers Track & Field Meets
  • Paid in addition to the registration fee for entering the event at time of entering each race or meet
  • Liability Insurance
