2nd CLAIM CLUB STATUS FOR ATHLETES
This is for athletes choosing to claim status with a second club for the 2024 season.
This form should be initiated by the 2nd claim club and will automatically be forwarded to the primary club and BCA for signatures. Approval will then be sent to both clubs and the athlete.
Out of Province (OOP) Athletes (Athletics Canada members) participating in a BC Athletics club:
- While members from another province can take part in a BC Athletics affiliated club, they will not show on AThleticsReg as a member of the BC Club. Clubs need to keep a list of any OOP athletes along with their membership numbers.
- Members from another province do NOT require a BC Athletics membership. Their home province membership is considered the same as a BC Athletics membership
- Make sure the individual has a current membership with their home province. Use the Membership Lookup link to make sure a membership is in place or contact cristi.lundman@bcathletics org to have the membership verified.
- OOP members who are with another province need to arrange with their AC Branch Insurance Co. to add as additional insureds:
- BC Athletics
- The BC Athletics club they are training with
- The owner of the facility they will be training at if necessary
