Less than 10 days to the Provincial Cross Country Championships!

The 2019 and 2020 BC Athletics Cross Country Championships will take place on Saturday, October 26 at Beaver Lake, Saanich, half way between Victoria and the Schwartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Prairie Inn Harriers are hosting the event and information is now posted on the BC Athletics website, including details of the course. Click here for details.

  • You must have a competitive membership.
    • JD, U16, U18, U20, Senior, Master, Road & Trail
    • Or equivalent from another Province or Country
    • School members are eligible to compete as individuals or unattached
  • There is no event bus from the ferry, but public transportation is available.
  • Only athletes born 2010 and older are eligible to compete.
  • University athletes not at Provincials, must declare to be eligible for BC Team at Nationals

 

Athletics Canada National Championships – November 30, Abbotsford BC

The 2019 and 2020 Athletics Canada National Championships will take place at Clearbrook Park in Abbotsford on Saturday, November 30th. BC Athletics will be sending a Provincial team to complete. In Province team fees are $105.

The Championships are open to U18, U20, Senior, and Masters Members.

Applications are now open for the BC Team Staff that will be working with the team at Nationals. Applications are open until September 30th. A Head Coach, up to 4 Assistant Team Coaches and 1 Team Manager will be selected.

 

U-Sports Declarations and Exemptions

We realize the date of the BC Cross Country Championships is on the same day as the new U-Sports Can West Championship in Calgary. Please review the BC Team criteria and the link to the Exemption / Declaration form below. ALL athletes not competing at the Championships, must complete the declaration at the link below to be considered for the BC Team at Nationals. Other university students competing with their team that weekend, complete the same form.
