BC Athletics Track & Field Committee - Call for Applications

The BC Athletics Track & Field Committee has put out a call for applications to fill open positions within the committee. Positions are accepted on a two-year term and meetings are held throughout the year, mostly by teleconference, with one in-person meeting taking place in the Fall. 

 

About The Track & Field Committee

The Track & Field Committee is a group of coaches & athletes who, in collaboration with the Technical Manager for Track & Field, help facilitate the following:

1. Develop & review BC Track & Field Team Selection Criteria, Standards and Process
2. Develop & review BC Athletics High Performance Athlete Support Selection Criteria, Standards and Process
3. Oversee the selection process for BC Team coaches, managers & athletes
4. Plan and organize provincial training camps, technical training sessions, and workshops for targeted athletes and personal coaches
5. Oversee the awarding of the BC Track & Field Championships
6. Other iniatives as prioritized.
