Megann VanderVliet Appointed Track & Field Program Manager

BC Athletics is very pleased to announce the appointment of Megann VanderVliet to the position of Track & Field Program Manager. In accepting this position, Megann will have the responsibility to manage and lead, together with BC Athletics Committees, Clubs, Coaches and Supporting Agencies, the ongoing development of Track & Field in British Columbia.
Megann comes to this position following a successful Athletics career in the Hammer Throw, where she spent 10 years training in both Kamloops and Victoria, representing both BC and Canada in competition. Megann is a 6 time Canadian National Championship Medallist and a finalist at both the 2009 Francophone and 2010 Commonwealth Games. Following her athletic career, Megann completed a Master of Arts degree in Leadership Studies at Royal Roads University, and comes to BC Athletics after four years in a leadership role at lululemon.
